Wei Benxin creates domestic hazelnut brand
In the mountains south of Hugou village, Huanghua

His name is Wei Benxin. He is 66 years old. In 2013,
Wei Benxin, who has retired from the position of chairman of the company, could
have enjoyed a happy life. However, every time he went back to his hometown,
looking at the barren mountains in the village and the poor villagers, he
decided to go back to his hometown to grow hazelnuts and lead the villagers to
get rich together.
Wei Benxin adapted measures to local conditions and
began to develop hazelnut industry. Hazelnut, known as the "king of
nuts", is especially prominent for its rich unsaturated fatty acids and
good health care effect. In order to understand the cultivation of hazelnut,
Wei Benxin went to the northeast and the Chinese Academy of forestry to consult
experts on the feasibility and related techniques of planting hazelnut, which
was approved by experts.
In six years, Wei Benxin planted 1333.3 Hectares hazelnut on barren mountains, developed and produced hazelnut milk, hazelnut
oil and other products, established the "Wei hazelnut" brand, and
built the whole industry chain of hazelnut industry integration of primary, secondary
and tertiary industries“ Weizhen has become a famous brand
of hazelnut industry in China.
Now, 667 Hectares hazelnut forest has entered the
high yield period, and this kind of woody oil forest has become a real
"green bank", with obvious ecological and economic benefits. Wei
